Recommended 12V Fridge To Replace Dometic DM2852RBX

Question:

Im looking for a replacement for my Dometic DM2852RBX fridge for our RV. Im looking for a 12v fridge to get away from the absorption fridge that I have now that isnt very efficient and doesnt keep the food cold enough. Which 12v fridges would you recommend that would replace the Dometic I have, and fit inside the same area? Thank you

Hey Steven! For a replacement I recommend the Furrion RV Refrigerator w Freezer # FR95TF. This is about as close as it gets to an exact match for your DM2852RBX.

The Furrion measures 23-3/8W x 25-3/4D x 59-5/8T. That puts it right in line with your current fridge on width and height, so it will fit nicely in the same opening. It is a bit deeper than your Dometic, so it may sit slightly further out from the cabinet depending on your available space.

Going to a 12V compressor fridge like this is a great choice. It will provide you with much better cooling performance, especially in warmer weather.
