Question:

I need press in lugs for a 7k Dexter axle with disk breaks from a 2022 Grand Design Solitude GK310. The lug threads are bad but it is a 9/16” - 18tpi x 2”long from the end of the threads to the inside of the head. Please help. This is an 8 lug wheel and again, it has disk breaks, not drum. Thank you, Scott

Hey, Scott. Happy to help.

We have exactly what you need. The Trailer Hub Wheel Stud # 7-223 is 2" long from the bottom of the bolt head to the end of the threads and has the 9/16"-18 thread you’re looking for. These studs work with both drum and disc brakes.

I’ve included a picture of all the specs below as well:

A - 9/16" thread diameter
B - 2" stud length
C - 0.31" spline length
D - 0.75" base length
E - 0.69" spline diameter

What trips are you prepping your Solitude for?

I purchased several to have as spares because I knew sooner or later the original would strip out. I no longer have that fifth wheel and let the lugs go with the trailer when I traded it in. I will say etrailer has never let me down. They know their products.

@MikeL Hey, thanks for saying so, Mike. What trailer did you trade your 5th wheel for?

@GwendolynY Forest River Flagstaff Superlite FLT29RLBS Half the weight and around 7 feet shorter than the Fifth Wheel. Same floor plan more or less. Just so much easier to take care of as we both get older.

@MikeL That's a great camper! I'm sure it also gives you more time outdoors with having less to take care of on the camper.

Thank you, I have been able to source them locally. We had planned a 5 week trip to Utah until diesel went north of $5/ gallon

@ScottM I hope things start to settle down sooner rather than later so you can go on that trip. I know there are plenty of beautiful sites to see in Utah.
