Spare Tire Recommendation for Utility Trailer with Tire Size ST215/75-15
Published 03/19/2026 >
Question:
I bought a new utility trailer with 215 75/15 R tires on it. I need to buy a spare tire for the trailer. 205 75/15 R are much easier to find. What would you recommend to buy?

Hey Debbie, the closest standard trailer tire size would be something like the Kenda # KE94WV which is an ST205/75R15. I would recommend checking the tire size you have now to make sure it's not a passenger vehicle tire and is indeed a trailer tire. The tire size should start with ST or LT and not the letter P as that would indicate its for a vehicle.
