Does Current Version of Trailer Valet RVR Have Replaceable Batteries
Updated 03/19/2026 | Published 03/17/2026 >
Question:
I see a You Tube video from Trailer Valet dated April 29, 2025 showing an upgraded model that has a removable battery. Are these the models you are currently selling, I dont see that in the description? Also, there are spare removable batteries available for the new model, do you now handle those as well? This fixes one of the flaws of this product, risk of battery failure making the whole unit scrap. Thanks!

Hey Ken, this is a great question but yes the Trailer valet RVR5 part # TVRVR5 that we carry is the current version of the dolly that has all of the features you mentioned. Actually all new RVR models after 2024 have replaceable batteries but at this time we do not carry just the replacements. If you were to need a replacement and we still didn't have them available we would help you get one though. How heavy is your trailer?

The machine is very heavy. Would like to have seen a 2 speed transmission with higher speed to get it to its location low speed to move. Heavy loads ether than that. It's wonderful.
