Regarding the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, Part Number: C76QV, has the frequently reported in reviews wiring mix up been corrected on this harness?

Hey Bruce, this is a great question but the issue with the Curt trailer wiring harness part # C76QV has been resolved and it no longer requires the wires being swapped. You will be able to install this and not have to worry about the trailer taillights not working. Do you have a hitch installed already on your Golf?

No issues on 2024 GTI. The hidden hitch was perfect. I did not even have to cut the plastic. Works great. Highly recommend.
