What Air Lift Air Bag do I Need to Replace Mine on My 2004 Sprinter 2500 with 5810?
Updated 03/31/2026 | Published 03/13/2026 >
Question:
Im looking for the correct 5810 air lift replacement bag for my 2004 Sprinter 2500. One of mine is leaking, but I did not install the setup. There appears to be several kits and part numbers associated with the 5810 bellows. Are the bags on all the kits the same and the different part numbers due to the fittings that come along with it?

Hello Trystan,
Great question, and I’m glad you reached out since this one can be a little confusing.
The main thing that determines the correct replacement is whether your current air spring has the internal jounce bumper or not.
- If your system has the internal jounce bumper, you will need Replacement Air Spring # AL84252.
- If your system does not have the internal jounce bumper, you will need part number 50252, which would need to be ordered directly through Air Lift since we no longer carry it on our site.
Is this a work vehicle or a Sprinter camper? What kind of load are you hauling that you need the extra support?
