Should Glue Get Tacky Before Installing LaSalle Bristol RV Roof Replacement Kit

Hello, watched the install video a few times, very enlightening, my question is ,do u let the glue set before install, or wet right after application

1 big mistake we made in preparation for our PVC RV roof install. A family member recommended that we completely unfurl the PVC roof material to take the rolled up memory out of it. When unrolled on a very large tarp on the ground, we saw that there was no memory. What we did learn was that static electricity in the material picked up grains of sand particles, like a magnet. Unfortunately we didn't get 100% of the sand off, maybe 99%. The 1% that we missed,, certainly showed up under the material as it was glued down. So we are 99% happy with the job, and that number is a passing grade for us.
