Question:
Is the power unit on this winch able to be mounted on top of the motor? I noticed a couple other Bulldog winches that had the box mounted on top. BDW15020 The mounting space I have available is 16inch in length so this winch will work if I can re-locate the power unit box. Thanks!

Hey Brian! Yes, the power unit on the Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch # BDW10030 can be moved to another location. It doesn't come with a bracket to mount on top, so you would have to figure that out yourself. They actually used to make a relocation kit so you could move this anywhere away from the winch but it has been discontinued.
It looks like you decided to go with the # BDW15020 so you won't have to worry about relocation or having enough space as is. What kind of setup do you have and what are you using the winch for?
