Question:

Will this hitch fit on the Freightliner S2RV chassis? I am hearing several folks say they upgraded from the factory 12k hitch to this one.

Hey Tom! The Curt # C15803 is designed to fit certain Ram trucks. Some people might have modified the hitch or just welded it on to get it to fit their Freightliner S2RV but it won't be able to just bolt on.

If you're going to go that route you're better off using the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C99CR (2" receiver) or # C87CR (2-1/2" receiver). This fits frames up to 44" wide and the brackets can be cut down or modified as needed for proper fitment.

What will you be towing with the upgraded hitch?
