Question:

What AC unit do you have for a 6x12 Cargo trailer? And, what propane furnace do you have for the same? Thank you.

Hey Harry! For an AC system on your 6 x 12 cargo trailer I recommend one of the following:

-Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # ADV23SR

-Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # ADV45SR

The only real difference here is the one unit is low profile. This has a lower capacity and is set up for a ductless system which is what your trailer will be. Keep in mind, these aren't approved for a cargo trailer and you're going to need to reinforce the roof to install the AC unit.

For a propane heater I would use the Camco Olympian Wave 3 # CAM57331 or Wave 6 # CAM57341. These are appropriately sized for the trailer. If you want a full on furnace the # FG55FR is probably your best bet since it has adjustable heat output and you can keep it at 17k btu.

Is this for a camper conversion or something else?

Thank you. - I am aware of the camco wave heaters just wanted to get away from the requirement to vent and or possible fumes although they are supposed to excellent. Wave is a possibilty. If so, a vent would be necessary, and I am sure you have maxxair or whatever? Thanks.

@HarryS yes, since it consumes air from the room you have to make sure there is air flow. You would need an open window or equivalent at one end and then a vent like # MA00-03700 or # MA00A04401K so air can move through the trailer.

Purchased the 23SR for my 23 Year old Sunline travel trailer. After replacing the 23 year old roof, I wanted to replace the 23 year old Dometic Duo Therm Brisk Air 13500 AC, that still ran. It was identical to the Dometic. The 45SR low pro would probably be great for the utility trailer.
