Will RetraxPRO MX Fit Over Pullrite OEX Series Fifth Wheel Hitch in Highest Setting
Published 03/02/2026 >
Question:
2024 Ram 3500 long bed with Pullrite OEX Series hitch. Pretty sure I would have enough turning clearance but wondering if I will have enough height clearance from fifth wheel to get adequate clearance 5 to 6 inches recommended. I currently have the hitch at the middle position so I can raise it up to the top. Will the cover hit the hitch and give me the 5 to 6 inches clearance needed?

Hey Barry, I looked up the height range of your Pullrite OEX fifth wheel hitch and in it's highest setting it would be 18.75 inches. The bed depth of your truck from the bed floor to the top of the bed rails is 20-21 inches so since this tonneau # RT80233 sits right on top of the rails you would have clearance for it if the hitch was in its' highest setting.
