I want to replace the lock housing in a Yakima space cadet it no longer functions correctly

If the lock is in the unlocked position you will first need to use a Yakima Change Key part # Y8007835 to remove the core by inserting it into the unlocked core and pulling the core out.

Then you can replace the core with a Replacement SKS Lock Core # Y8771-A144. You will need Replacement Key part # Y8772-A144.

I had to drill out the lock on my space cadet. I need the housing for a new tumbler. the housing the tumbler slides into.

Unfortunately Yakima no longer makes the replacement lock housing for their older Space Cadet cargo box. You're either going to have to find it at a resale shop, modify a lock from a different brand, or get a new cargo box.
