Question:
I already have a giandell 4000watt inverter and 600 aH and separate 100 aH lifepo4 batteries and thinking about a seven panel system. If i am stuck on 12vdc battery bank and 12vdc inverter, am I going to break up the solar arrayinto segments with a separate charge controller for each segment to stay below 500 for each charge controller?

Hey David, if you are going to charge your batteries as banks it's going to be best to have all of the same spec batteries in a bank connected to a single charger and then different spec batteries should be on their own separate bank with a charger.
So the 600 ah battery would need it's own charger and then however many 100 ah batteries you have would need to be on a different charger if you wanted to charge them as a bank. Does that help?
