Are There Hard Tread Covers For Lippert OEM RV Steps Instead Of Carpet That Gets Soaked In Rain?

Question:
We had carpet-style rugs on the RVs Lippert oem steps before and they were too thick and also got wet and gross after a year or so. Will these still let my SolidSteps fold up inside the camper? and stay fine in the elements? I think they are 20 inches or a bit more.

Hey Angela!
The PopStep covers are molded flexible PVC - not thick carpet with springs underneath. They snap over the tread and sit flush, so your Lippert SolidSteps can still fold and nest properly. They also will not soak up water and get weather like a carpet set would.
If you have 24 inch wide treads on your steps, you’d be looking at:
# PS27UR 2-step
# PS87UR 3-step
If yours are the narrower 20 inch version, then:
# PS99UR 2-step
# PS39UR 3-step
They’re designed specifically for Lippert SolidStep systems and will snap right on without any tools or adhesive! They are super easy to clean and remove if you ever need to do so.
Are you running a 2-step or 3-step SolidStep right now? And do you know the step width? I can make sure one of these parts will work for you :).

Thanks! I checked and they’re actually right at 20-1/4" across the front edge. And yes they’re the factory Lippert steps.
