Is There a Way to Adjust the Jaws of the Replacement Q Hitch Fifth Wheel Head Tighter

Can I adjust the amount of slack between the jaws and king pin? There is a bit of bucking

Hey Matt, there isn't a way to adjust the tightness of the jaws of the replacement Q Hitch Head part # C16565 but you might see if your king pin is worn and the extra movement is related to a king pin that is worn down and allowing for looser clearances.

I didn't find any real issues with my replacement head. But to be honest I have a TrailAir system on my rig which reduces bucking immensely. We pull a 43' toy hauler. I also added a super spring to the rear of my truck. That combination eliminates that bucking sensation completely. You hit a bump, and you have the initial reaction, but no further bucking.
