Question:
I have a 2012 jeep wrangler unlimited. I need a wiring harness for a trailer but I want it to end in the 4 pin round instead of flat. I would also need the mounting brackets. Which products do you recommend?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I'd begin by installing the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118416.
From that point, you can construct an adapter using the following parts:
Pollak Vehicle Side 4-Pole Round Trailer Connectors, # PK11410
4-Pole Flat Trailer End, # 18004
4-Pole Trailer Connector Mounting Bracket # HM48605
Or, you could simply cut off the 4-pole flat plug of the # 118416 and use the # PK11410 and the # HM48605 bracket. However, this option wouldn't let you tow a trailer with a normal 4-pole flat, which is why I'd recommend constructing the adapter.
