Question:

is this truck you installed the hitch a diesel ? Mine is a diesel and Im haveing trouble finding a hitch that fits my truck . I bought a hitch that Curt said would fit , and it did not . I dont want to go thru the problemms of buy and return deal ,, so if you can say absolutely this will fit my 2018 diesel , 3 .0 , stock truck ,,, nothing added or changed ,, , I would be greatful . Hey Russ. The EcoHitch Hidden Front Trailer Hitch item # EH87SR is the only front hitch that fits the 2018 Ford F-150 with a diesel engine.

The EcoHitch item # EH87SR is custom fit and comes with all necessary hardware you'll need to install it on your 2018 Ford F-150 diesel. It has a 2" receiver with a line pull capacity of 7,500 lbs a vertical load limit of 750 lbs and you'll be able to move around a trailer weighing up to 10,000 lbs.

Jerred , I have looked at the pictures that are on the cite here and then I looked under my truck (2018 f150 with a diesel 3.0 ) on both sides and I see that the predrilled holes ,, 2 close together and no hole for the back hole of the hitch . Now it looks as tho there would have be a new hole drilled in the frame . I do not know if there is a differant name brand that would do the same job as this one , but as I look at both sides of the truck it appears that there will have to be new holes drilled no matter which hitch I get . Any suggestions Russ

@Russ You're welcome! There's only two options that fit your 2018 Ford F-150 and we've had a few customers install the EcoHitch item # EH87SR on the diesel models with no issues.
