Question:
I’ve got a 6-foot-wide utility trailer and mostly load a zero-turn mower. I don’t want to scrape the deck when loading. Which RapidRamps kit makes the most sense?

Expert Reply:
Tyler, with a 6-foot-wide trailer, you’re in the 5 - 6-1/2 foot width range, so the two kits that fit are # e37XV 5 foot ramps and # e47XV 6 foot ramps. For a zero-turn mower, the 6 foot RapidRamps kit # e47XV is usually the better choice because the extra ramp length gives you a smoother approach angle and helps prevent deck or blade scrape.
The 5 foot version can work on lower trailers, but for mowers and equipment with long wheelbases, most folks are happier with the 6 foot setup.
If you know your deck height, I can help confirm that # e47XV is the best fit. You'll love how lightweight these ramps are. I teste them out and it took a couple fingers to lift them off the ground!
