Question:

I load different equipment with different tire widths. Can the ramps be adjusted side to side once they’re installed?

Yes, they can, Chris.

With both 6 foot RapidRamp kits # e47XV and # e67XV, the ramps slide side-to-side along the index bars so you can line them up with different tire widths. Once lifted back in the upright position, they latch in place, and you can optionally snug down the anti-rattle knob to limit movement while towing.

The adjustability is a big upgrade over fixed weld-on ramps or loose sets that never seem to land where you want them. If you aren't sure which 6 foot ramp kit to get, you'll need to measure the open width of your trailer at the back. If it's under 6-1/2' wide, go with # e47XV. If over 6' wide, go with # e67XV.

That makes sense. Do the ramps stay where you set them, or can they shift side to side while driving?

@Chris Hello again Chris. Once you slide the ramps into the far out positions and lift all the way, they latch in place when all the way up and they won’t shift side to side on the road. If you want to really lock things down, you can snug up the optional anti-rattle knob, but even without it the latch keeps everything where you set it.
