Yes, it is Meaghan. The Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack item # Y02458 is indeed compatible with the BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender item # Y02483. This swing away adapter will allow you to move the rack and the bikes to the right side of your vehicle to access a rear trunk or cargo area.
Please note that using the BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender item # Y02483 will reduce your hitch's tongue weight capacity by 50%.

Hi We added the Yakama swing away along with the swagmann e-bike rack to our Winnebago View and it work great. Swing away feature allows us to leave the bikes on while still being able to use our read slide out. Thank you E-trailer for your assistance. Al

We bought this swing away 3 years ago for our RAM pro master camper van. It worked great. We put two bikes on a bike hitch connected to the swing away t. The swing away made it very convenient as we don't need to remove the bikes to access the back of the van. The swing away is super steady and has a secure locking mechanism with safety lock . Just perfect for our use
