What cargo boxes do you carry that will handle skies up to 185cm in length and that would fit on the MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist - Clamp On Part Number: MR39ZV. Thanks for the help and info. Tom

Hello again Tom; for a roof box that can handle those skis I recommend the Yakima SkyBox NX Skinny Rooftop Cargo Box # Y93QD. This box has a max ski length of 195 cm and measures 84" long x 26-1/2" wide x 16" tall. I have had a chance to use a lot of different roof box brands, and the Yakima SkyBox NX has been the easiest to use and my favorite model.
Did you pick up the MOS UpLift # MR39ZV yet? I know we talked about it recently. This roof box is right at the limit of what it can hold. You may be able to get it to fit, but it might barely be too wide (the stated limit is 26" and the SkyBox is 26-1/2"). What I would do is test it out to see if you can secure it on the standard arms. If you can't, you will need to add the MOS UpLift J-Extension Bars # MR38RV which add 10" per arm so you will have enough space to mount the box.

Hi Robin, Thanks, as always, for the excellent info and advice. No I haven't purchased the MOS UpLift yet - that's a potential spring purchase. Need to purchase the roof rack / bars first - also a spring purchase. Ski cargo box - potential for next ski season.
