Does Valterra Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank # T58 Have Pin and Cable

Question:
Valterras web site for part T58 has two photos 6 and 7 that show a pin inserted into a bayonet to prevent the valve from accidentally rotating loose. Does your product include that feature?

Hey Alan, thanks for bringing this to our attention. Yes the Valterra Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank # T58 does come with the pin and cable you saw in the product pictures of the # T58 on Valterras site. I sent an update to our site to have the pictures reshot so that that feature is shown.

I don't think a pin was included with my valve so none was installed. I used self drilling self tapping #12 sheet metal screws to have a hard attachment of the bayonet to my black water discharge. Yes, the length of the screw threads extend about ¼" into the discharge pipe and could catch tank matter. It was more important to me to have a valve that didn't leak vs having some debris "caught" on the exposed threads inside the dump pipe.
