Relative to Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly - Single - 38 Series - 24 Wide Part Number: LC3723383. Is the frame available without the motor and electronics?

Hi John; I'm sorry to say the frame of the 38 Series Kwikee Electric RV Step # LC3723383 is not available separately. The only option is to get the complete step assembly. You can see this in the attached picture from the Lippert manual which also lists the replacement parts.

Did something happen to the frame on your existing steps?

Robin.............. Thank you for the reply. After sending my inquiry I did find the answer within the Q&A for #3723383 on the eTrailer website. Our step frame was caught on a crown (and badly bent) in the middle of a curvy mountain road in Arkansas while we were turning around. Motor and eletronics seem to be OK; but will take the advice found in the earlier response and buy the complete unit. I assume the step is in stock?? If we order today when could we expect an ETA to 33950? John

@JohnW oh no, sorry to hear that! We do have the # LC3723383 in stock right now so if you order it we can get it to you fairly quickly. You will need to add it to your cart and run through the checkout steps to get an ETA based on the shipping options. Make sure you hang onto those other components like the motor, they wear out eventually and you can save some money later since you now have spare parts.

@RobinH Robin....... We have another unit with a step problem Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly - Single - 28 Series - 23-5/8" Wide. In this case we need to replace the motor and control, Will the motor, arm and control from our old LC3723383 work on the "28" series? John

@JohnW the motor and control unit will carry over. The 28 series will need the Replacement Gear Box and B Linkage for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379161 since the 38 series uses the A linkage.

The issue you are having with your Kwikee 28 Series Step is a bad motor. I do have an option for you but the cutoff date for replacement parts on Kwikee Steps is 1999. Therefore, they do not make a replacement motor that will work with your Kwikee…
