Question:
is there any way I can flat tow my 2011 mini cooper s with auto trans. I have heard yes and no and the mini dealer says no but if its possible and forfeit the rest of my warranty with mini I might consider doing that because its all most out of warranty anyway and it would be the best tow car for our needs?

I checked the owners manual for the 2011 Mini Cooper S and it says, on page 171, that models with the automatic transmission can only be towed with the front wheels off of the ground. This means that you would need a tow dolly, # RM-2050-1. Otherwise, you would need to put the Mini on a trailer. Given that it is a Mini, it would not have to be a very big trailer, just large enough and with a high enough capacity for the vehicle.
