Which Flat Tow Vehicle Protector Can Work with Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar and Roadmaster Base Plate

I have a Blue Ox Towbar Alpha 2 and a Roadmaster baseplate 2024 Ford Maverick with the BX88185 adapter brackets. Would either the Blue Ox KarGard or Roadmaster Tow Defender RM-4750 work with this setup? What additional hardware would I need to mount either?

Hey Tom, since you have a Blue Ox tow bar and a Roadmaster base plate kit you would need the Blue Ox Karguard part # BX8870 as it can work with this combination of parts. The Roadmaster solution doesn't work with mixed tow bar and base plate manufacturers.

The Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen works great behind our Jayco Redhawk to protect our Jeep Wrangler. It does a great job of keeping stones and debris from chipping the paint and causing touchup problems… And it’s easy to hook up and unhook.
