Question:

Hello fr Iowa. Do you have a wiring harness for my 2022 Jeep Grand. Cherokee new body style. For a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you need a Tekonsha custom wiring harness like part 3014-P or 3045 that connects the Prodigy P2 controller to the Jeeps built-in port. I have the bracket and controller out of our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Pls and thank you

Hey Carl! Are you saying you already have the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 and you just need the wiring harness? The correct brake controller wiring harness for your 2022 Grand Cherokee WL is the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # TK93VR. This is the same as the 308200 which replaced the 6045 and 3082-P.

What kind of trailer are you towing?

Hey Robin! Ok, you are awesome. Thank you. I took the controller out of my 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee and want to install in my 2022. Crazy the jeep has a trailer tow set up but no built in internal brake unit. As to kind of trailer I tow? never know. Could be mower trailer a open small car trailer or a u haul enclosed. Just nice to have if ever needed. I will just need to find some instructions on how to connect the cable to the jeep once it is received. Plugging into the controller is easy part. ha ha ha. THank you

@CarlS you're welcome! I do the same thing with my Jeep, never know when I might need to tow something and I'd rather be prepared.

My 2017 grand Cherokee was simple. The plug for the harness is under the driver’s side dash. You have to reach up in there and plug them together. Job done. I pulled the side cover off and mounted mine next to the A frame to the left of steering wheel so I can see it. Most people wire them so they sit at the bottom of the dash. I find that out of reach if you NEED it. Other than scraping up my big hands in was easy. It’s pretty much a “blind” job. Best of luck.
