Question:
I’m interested in the Leer Quad Fold Tonneau Cover for my 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 standard bed. I’ve read where when all of the panels are open and the struts are used to hold them open it doesn’t touch the rear window, which is good in a sense that it won’t rub or scratch anything. Does it allow enough clearance for the bed camera to be used or does the fact that it doesn’t open all the way against the cab result it the open cover blocking the camera?

Hey Hank, when the Leer tonneau cover part # LE67FR is folded up it's going to block the camera that is in the third brake light. Check out the attached picture to see what I mean. A better option for you would be a retracing tonneau like the part # PE63CV which is also a hard tonneau cover. It would not mess with camera visibility at all.

Thank you for the response. I don’t know if there is a difference in the dimensions but can I assume that the photo is an HD truck and not a 1500?
