Question:
I have 2022 F150 with tow package but Ford trailer brakes do not work consistently. Ford cant find the issue. Can you recommend a trailer brake controller for replacement?

Hi Steve; the simplest option for a brake controller on your Ford F-150 would be the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180. This will plug into your 7-way at the rear and works through your phone via the app.
If you want another brake controller in the cab I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. Ford removed the factory port on many of the 2022 models, so you will probably have a hardwire installation. If you happen to have the factory brake controller port you can use the # C51436 along with # 331-TPH-019 for a plug and play installation.

Thanks Robin. I have been considering the Redarc Liberty Controller. Do you have installation options in the Wentzville MO area?
