Will The Connect-Ease Quick Disconnect Harness Stay Secure While Driving Or Running Equpment?

Updated 01/02/2026 | Published 12/30/2025

Question:

Will these Connect-Ease connectors stay secure while driving or running equipment, or are they more of a temporary connection?

Nathan, they’re definitely not temporary. Once snapped together, the connectors lock in solid and are designed to handle vibration and movement. That’s one of the reasons they’re popular in boats (trolling motors) that have lots of movement, and other applications as well (golfcarts etc.). They hold up really well. Most older golfcarts actually use this connection as the main charger port, so that design has been around awhile.

The big advantage is that they’re secure during use but still disconnect instantly when you want them to. What kind of equipment are you running - boat, car, golfcart, or something else? That way I can figure out which kit is best for you Nathan.

Here are just a few of the options we have:
12V for single battery (has additional leads) # CE76RR
12V/24V/36V for single battery # CE66RR
24V for dual 12V batteries # CE58RR
24V for dual 12V batteries (has additional leads) # CE26RR
36V for three 12V batteries (has additional leads) # CE88RR

Good to know. This would be on a golf cart that gets used pretty hard. 36v wired in series.

@Nathan Okay nice. If they are 3 12V batteries in series to get 36V, then the # CE88RR would be perfect. If you actually have 6 of the 6V batteries which is also super common in a lot of those 36V carts, then you'd actually want the # CE66RR wired into the positive and negative ends of the battery pack.
