Question:
One of the previous questions asked about a 2016 E450 cab and chassis and this was recommended but in the answer he referenced a F450. Will this fit the E-450?

Hey John. The 2016 E-450 is a completely different chassis than the F-450 so the Curt Hitch item # C15845 will not fit. I'll get that question fixed because it is confusing.
To add rear hitch to your 2016 E-450 cab and chassis you'll need to go with a universal fit because there are no custom options. Depending on how low your rear bumper sits, I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch item # 41990-07 with 7" brackets or item # 41990-16 with 16" tall brackets. These are class V hitches with a 2" receiver. The included brackets will need to be welded to the side of your E-450's frame. You'll want to measure from the highest portion of your frame to the bottom of your rear bumper to determine how long of brackets you need.
I saw you looked at a few questions with front hitches as well. We do have a custom one for the 2016 E-450, its the Draw-Tite item # 65053.
What are you planning on using your new hitch for?

Its for my ambulance. I actually ordered that one you recommended from you yesterday. I had measured and realized that other one was way to narrow. This one will work great to sneak out just under that back of the rear box. Thanks!
