Can Custom Third Brake Light Camera Work Via 4-Pin Connector
Updated 12/29/2025 | Published 12/24/2025 >
Question:
Would this work on a rear view camera mirror if connected to it via the 4-pin connector? I like the clean look of this bracket. I already have a factory bed camera. I would only be looking to hook this up to the 3rd party mirror.

Hi Jeff; the Custom Third Brake Light Camera # 3460003 is designed to connect to your battery for power and then a monitor with an RCA composite input.
If you're referring to the 4-pin connector pictured below it would have to have 12V power and then the camera feed pinned correctly to work with some kind of mirror connection, or you would have to hard wire it in. Changing up the installation would also void the 3-year warranty.
