Can this fit 2017 Silverado K1500 LTZ with a 5 1/5/ bed? Can side rails be cut to 5-1/5 foot to accomidate

The mounting holes for the base are pretty specific, so they really shouldn't be cut to fit. That said, we do have this rack for the 5-1/2 foot bed on your 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ with the following part number:
Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever - 1,250 lbs # TH43002XT-782EX
It has the same capacity and has the cantilever over the roof, just shorter base rails for your specific bed. Oh and if you already have the rack and are just needing the rails, you will want the Base Rails for Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Racks # TH21782.
