Does it matter which way the pivot pin is installed

Hi Jim; there is no front/back up/down requirement for the installation of the Replacement Pivot Pin # 58484. What matters is that you can get the pin in and insert the retaining clip. However, I would match the orientation of the original pin just to be safe.
