Question:
Hello! I recently purchased a 1985 Fleetwood Avion 34W with a most likely original Magnetek/Parallax power converter. The camper didnt come with batteries so I am looking to install three lithium batteries and want to make sure that my power converter can charge them without any issues. I like the glass tube fuse set up so I was wondering if this product part no PD4645V can be installed with the existing fuse panel? I see this part comes with a new fuse panel but Id like to keep the original in there if possible. Please let me know. Thank you!

Hey Jake, the lower converter PD4645V that you referenced is not compatible with what you have now as it's much older. Only solution we have would be an all new distribution panel like the PowerMax # PM47VR. This is a 45 amp distribution panel. Or you could unplug the current converter and just use the part # PD69RR.
I wish there was a way to keep using the glass fuse setup you have but at this time there isn't a way to do that.
