Will Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit 2017 Ford F-150 With 20" Spare Tire

Question:
With this secondary receiver would I still be able to store and access my 20” spare tire? From the pics it looks pretty tight with an 18” spare.

Hi Eric; it is really tight on the 18" spare. Another customer installed the # C26HR with their 18" spare and said there wouldn't be anymore room for a larger tire. However, it really depends on the exact tire size.
Do you have 275/55R20 tires? Those are actually going to be 0.2" smaller in diameter than your standard 275/65R18 tire found on the 2017 F-150 so even though it is a 20" tire it would still fit inside the hitch brackets.

I have the stock 18" spare on my 2022 and this fits tightly inside that. Part of fit will be your tread - the aggressive tires have really high tread. If you have or can use a stock street tread tire as your spare it may fit in there, but if you are using a aggressive tread tire as your spare that is probably not going to fit.
