The mounting bracket is 27 1/2 wide. The bracket on my trailer is 27 1/4 wide. How do I make it fit?

Hey Rick. If the bracket on your trailer is 27-1/2" wide, you'll need to use the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs item # SMFP-3100. These steps are designed for 27" brackets.

I recommend grabbing a different tape measure and seeing if you get the same 27-1/4" measurement. If your tape measures are like mine some of them are off. We've got steps for 27-1/2" wide and 27" wide but none for 27-1/4".

You definitely won't be able to get the Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs item # LC432687 to fit inside that bracket if it's 27-1/2" wide.

Do you have a part number off of the steps you're replacing? I could look up what bracket those fit for you.

Thanks for the quick reply Jerred. I'm out in the middle of the desert in Arizona. Let me get back to you when I can pull the stairs off. The tag with the part number has worn off. Rick

@RickR You're welcome! Yeah any kind of marking on a part inside the steps or branding on it would help. I love the desert this time of year! Are you traveling or based out of the area? I used to live in 29 Palms.
