Replacement Door Lock for 2003 Coachmen Roadmaster

Question:

I’m trying to replace my door lock to my 2003 Ford F550 and the cab was built by coachman and it says roadmaster on the body but every time I search roadmaster nothing for roadmaster pops up it’s a class a motorhome and the measurements of this lock and looking at the detailed videos you provided this looks like the perfect fit for my lock, but I would like to confirm by asking will it fit Before I order it and wait for it to come so I’m not disappointed

Hey Alexis! Nothing will show up in our fitguide for door locks/latches since we don't have a way of knowing which lock is used on any given motorhome/trailer. The one in your picture does look similar to the Bauer Products Motorhome Door Lock # BA64FR. However, the only way to be sure this will fit is to measure the cutout in your door.

This is designed to fit cutouts that are 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall and doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick. If you meet these requirements it will fit without modification. If your cutout is smaller you would have to enlarge it to install the door lock which isn't uncommon, especially for an older RV.
