More Reliable Brake Controller Recommendation for 2018 Ford Explorer

I can’t get this devise to stop locking up the trailer brakes. I’m linked to my phone, the pin# is in, I’ve agreed to all the terms, blue annd green lights come on and still locks them up. I’m ready to install a hard wire different brand under the dash. Just took my dash apart to find the plug in my 2018 Ford Explorer. Let’s spend more money.

Hey James, I am really sorry to hear about that with the Echo # C51180. It's been pretty hit or miss for people that I have seen so I don't like recommending it for people anymore because of that. If you are open to a new controller I think you're life will be a lot easier. I really like the very reliable and great performing Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED96CR and it would be what I would go with. It also only puts a small knob on the dash of your vehicle too so it looks nicer as well.

Hey James, how did things go after switching from the Echo to the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller? Your results could really help others who’ve had trouble with the Echo’s performance.
