Hi Matt!
The Aries AscentSteps Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit - 5-1/2" Wide - Powder Coated Steel # AA2558047 will definitely fit your 2018 GMC Yukon XL Denali. We haven't done an install with these on your vehicle as of yet, but I did confirm the fit directly with Aries, just to make sure.
With that said, would you be open to a different design? The Aries RidgeStep Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit # AA2055512 is 6-1/2" wide and is actually a better price at the moment (I confirmed this fit with Aries as well, just in case). They are a different and more "aggressive" style, but I like having wider steps when I need to use them (I might have fairly huge feet).
On that note, I mentioned to my mom that I was thinking about taking the running boards off my Silverado because I'm 6'5" and don't really need or use them, and I got the death glare. She may be 5'5", but she is also half Russian so she can stare down a bear. I decided it was safer for my wellbeing to keep them on. : P

Hey Matt, how did the running boards work out on your wife's Yukon Denali? I'm curious if you went with the AscentSteps or decided to try the wider RidgeStep design. Your feedback could really help others choosing between the two styles.
