Question:

I have a Duo Therm model 630515.321 air unit on a 05 Newmar Ventena I am needing to know what new a/c unit I could purchase from you that would be compatible with my existing controls.

Hi Todd; everything moved to the new R32 refrigerant this year following the 2025 EPA guidelines. The new AC units are not compatible with old R410A parts so a complete system replacement will be necessary. For a system that matches your current 13,500 Btu cooling capacity, and includes a heat pump, I recommend the following:

-GE Appliances HE Low-Profile RV AC w/ Heat Pump - Ductless - 13,500 Btu - White # GE86RR

-GE Appliances HE Low-Profile RV AC w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 13,500 Btu - White # GE76RR

Both are complete systems that include the air distribution box, thermostat, and control board. You will need to choose based on ducted or ductless. If the heat pump isn't a concern and you would like to save a little money the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ADV95SR is another good choice. It also has an optional heat strip # ADV34QR.

Hey Todd, how did things turn out with the new GE or Advent Air system for your Ventena? Were you able to pick one that matched your setup? Your update could make it easier for others replacing older Duo Therm units.
