Does the Air Blow Forward or Rearward on GE Appliances Low Profile RV AC Unit
Updated 03/30/2026 | Published 03/26/2026 >
Question:
Good morning, We have a 2017 Crusader 5th wheel and are looking at the GE low profile AC for the front bedroom. Install is pretty straight forward but I cant seem to find any information on the air distribution pattern. This unit appears to have the supply air on the rear of the unit with the return in the front based on where the filter is. I am wanting to make sure that is correct so the supply air isnt blowing in our faces at night. If this is a front discharge is there a rear discharge option or another AC that is very quiet and has a rear or side supply air discharge? Thanks,

Hey Patt, yes the GE Appliances Low-Profile RV AC w/ Heat Pump # GE96RR that you referenced does have the supply/outlet vent towards the rear of the unit and the return vent on the front like it sounds like you are wanting.
