Hello Erwin, thanks for reaching out. It was kind of hard to tell from the pictures so I went out to our warehouse and looked at one of the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vents # 9106-2756. I would definitely describe it as a semi-gloss coating.

Hi Jesse Thank you very much for the Info.I will check in later once I’m ready to get them . I would use them as Vents for a Mercedes Sprinter Van conversion. Can they be keept open while driving so the fresh air can get in. Thank you very much for your help Kindly Erwin PS. I assume you could send them to Europe ,right?

@ErwinK Hey Erwin. The Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vents # 9106-2756 are really designed for ventilation only and are not specifically rated by the manufacturer to be left open while driving. It would probably be ok at lower speed but highway speed would be risky. If you do want to keep it open during travel, just make sure the lid is facing toward the rear so air doesn’t push it hard against the vent or leak water. Make sure you close it if driving in heavy wind or rain. That said, we can only ship to the USA and Canada. We do not ship to Europe. The only way to do that would be for you to use a mail forwarding service.
