Will Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks Fit Haul-Master Roof Rack

Question:
I am attempting to mount an old thule ski rack, I believe it is a 724, and I am trying to attach it to a harbor freight cross bar Haul-Master 64877 Will these clamps hold on to that shape of a cross bar? If not, do you have a different suggestion?

Hi Sam; as long as those crossbars aren't wider than 3-3/4" you can use the Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks # 7533998. That shape won't be a problem. I don't see the specs listed on the Harbor Freight site so you will need to measure the width to be sure.

Hey Sam, were you able to measure the width of your Harbor Freight crossbars to see if the Thule mounting kit fit? Knowing how it turned out could really help others trying to use older ski racks with those bars.
