Will RoadActive Suspension Work On 2007 Toyota Tundra With Icon Leaf Springs?
Updated 11/07/2025 | Published 10/31/2025 >
Question:
Hello, I have a Tundra 2007 with the Icon leaf springs. Im considering a camper with a permanent load of at least 2800lbs. Could your RoadActive help with that. Im upgrading shocks, brakes, tires.... Would a heavier duty leaf springs set Dobinson L59-1212-R and air spring help? Thank you.

Hello Karim, thanks for reaching out. Yes the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS34FR will still work with your Icon aftermarket leaf springs. We have confirmed this with many of our own customers who have successfully used RAS with Icon leaf springs.
This system simply clamps to the leaf spring stack at the center and the opposite side eyelet to act as an extra leaf spring on the stack and provide more support for heavy loads. It will definitely help with stability and support on vehicles with a permanent load like your Tundra.
What kind of camper are you looking at?
