Do The Yakima TrackTowers Have A Provision For Pitch Adjustment

Question:
Does the Yakima Tracktower have pitch adjustment as the baseline, timberline and skyline towers do? I have a curved rail topper and was hoping to acheive the low profile look with properly adjusted bars. Thanks

Hello Matt, thanks for reaching out. The Yakima TrackTowers # Y52AV do not have a provision for pitch adjustment like the BaseLine and TimberLine towers do. The TrackTower manual does not mention any pitch adjustment, and the towers do not have adjustment bolts like the other towers do. Yakima likely omitted a pitch adjustment mechanism in favor of simplicity and strength.

Hey Matt, what did you end up doing for your curved rail topper since the TrackTowers don’t have pitch adjustment? Your experience could point others toward the best setup for that kind of roof.
