Do You Have a Light Bar for My Trailer that is Amber to Make Hitching Up at Night Easier/

Updated 11/04/2025 | Published 10/29/2025

Question:

Is there an Amber Version of this marker light? It would be helpful when hitching up the trailer at night.

Hello Todd,

We don’t have an exact match, but check out the Hot-Line LED Trailer Turn Signal Light Bar - Submersible - Amber Lens # 328-003-6017A it’s a great option with an amber lens.

What kind of trailer are you hitching up to in the dark?

I have a Hi-Lo camper, but I was thinking more specifically to an off-road camping trailer that I am building. You don't always get home, or even get the campsite setup before sunset. With a forward facing center clearance light that could also serve as an area work light could be very convenient for this situation. Also it could be helpful when pulling items out of the Tow Vehicle in the dark. The cargo area of Jeep Wranglers and Pickup Tops are notoriously dark unless other lighting is added.

@ToddG That is the nice thing about building your own trailer, can get things set-up just as you would like it. The dark is not my friend at some of the boat ramps I put in at. Something like the LED Flood Light - 375 Lumens - Black Aluminum - Amber Lens - 12V/24V # 3371492111 might work as well. I had a customer wire one on the back of his boat trailer to see better, it was the clear lens which would be a little bright for you. Hard to hitch up when you are blinded by the light. If I come across a better light bar, I will definitely let you know.

@KateF Thanks. There are plenty of lighting options out there that could fill the need, but I was just hoping there was a "Front" version of the OPT88FR light. It would make wiring and placement issues a lot simpler. Thank again for your response.
