Do 4.4k ABS Brakes From Dexter Need Adjustment Or Are They Like Nev-R-Adjust ?

Question:
Do the 4.4K ABS brakes self-adjust like the other Dexter electric brakes?

Expert Reply:
Yes, Kendra. The Dexter 4.4K ABS assemblies # DX83WR include the same Nev-R-Adjust system as Dexter’s standard brakes. Once you’ve done the break-in procedure 20–30 slow stops, they’ll maintain shoe clearance automatically.
Are you upgrading both axles at once? It’s always smart to match new brakes side-to-side so the ABS can balance correctly.
Anyone else running the Tow Assist setup - how’s your braking feel so far?
