Will Lid of DeeZee Tool Box DZ8546 Hit Truck Bed Panel of Nissan Frontier

Question:
If this toolbox is mounted as far forward as possible in the 2025 Frontiers bed, will the back of the toolbox body or lid hit the painted metal strip above the OEM sprayed-in bed liner. The strip is about 1.5inch wide and runs the width of the truck bed. Incredible that it is not coated with bed liner as it will get hit with items placed in the bed. One buyer complained that a slanted panel inside the tool box decreased the interior volume. Is the floor of this toolbox completely flat and of the stated dimensions?

Hey Tedd, the DeeZee toolbox part # DZ8546 that you referenced has it's hinge assembly offset forward so that when you open it the lid doesn't hit anything behind the tool box. So even with this box slid forward as much as possible the lid will open without hitting that panel. The floor of this box is totally flat and is the stated dimensions. I am not sure what that review would have been referring to.
