Question:

What theft-PROOF couple lock do you have for this coupler? Please do not recommend junk that is easily cut or hammered off. Thank you.

Hey Sherman,

Since the # DM6125-81 coupler does not have an outer lip for some of the more secure locks to fit I recommend something like the Fastway # FA86-0015-312. This Demco coupler specifically does not have the right clearance or features for some of our more secure locks. Of course anyone with the right tools and time can get into any lock you can think of. The Fastway does have internal bolts that engage the notches preventing this from being easily pried off.

What kind of trailer are you wanting to add this coupler to?

I asked for theft PROOF protection. The lock you recommended can be quickly and easily defeated with a well placed hammer blow, prying, or cordless reciprocating saw. I'm clearly looking for something much more stout, as per my original message. Don't trouble yourself any further since you couldn't take the time to do a more thorough search of available products. It's pretty obvious you only recommend products you sell and not those that fit the needs I outlined in my message. I DID make the effort to conduct a search and found several products that meet my needs that you simply do not sell. Thanks for wasting my time.

@ShermanM Unfortunately for the specific coupler you were asking about, the way it is designed there are not a lot of options for security that are going to be top tier. What I recommended was the best option we have that fits that specific coupler. Due to not having a lip and minimal clearance for some beefier locks that is the option that we have for you.
