Not solid, Jim, but the # PG36ZR Antifreeze will start to slush around freezing temps. The “–50°F” rating refers to burst protection, meaning your pipes won’t rupture even if the fluid thickens. For extended subzero weather, use the # PG96ZR rated to –100°F; it stays flowable far longer.
